My internet in Cambridge sucks so this and Vienna are switched in order, just so you're aware. I had written this all out but I guess I have to re-write it X(
We got into Budapest at 6am. We chilled at a McDonald to use their internet and get reorganized and brush our teeth and the like. Fumio decided that we should leave at 11 the next day because he didn't want to spend the next morning trying to find things to do which I found disappointing. Since we had no idea what to do, and because Budapest is a lot bigger than Prague, we decided to do a hop on hop off bus tour. Unfortunately I was so tired from the sleepless night before I kept falling asleep on the tour bus. I wonder why I couldn't sleep on the bus I needed to sleep on but couldn't stay awake on the one I wanted to be awake for? Oh well.
Fat calves in the reflection. Those would be mine... |
Heroe's square. We didn't get a chance to get off there sadly. |
Fisher's Bastion |
I love animals so I had to. Totally worth it! |
We didn't have time to go into the fortress :( Did we miss out, Mom and Dad? |
Our Bus driver was crazy! |
It was opening night for an opera that night. |
The King's box (now for the president and and Prime Minister) |
Jen and I went shopping. That store owner was great. |
A boat tour to close the day. My hair was nuts! |
On our long walk home we decided to stop for Doner Kebabs and ended up talking for like two hours |
Our Hostel |
We all woke up really early the next day to check out some last sights in Budapest before our 11:30 bus to Vienna.
Fumio hates me. |
Saint Stephens Cathedral |
It was amazing. I died at how beautiful this church was! |
Saint Stephen's hand! |
Y%! |
And then we were off to the bus station for our next excursion to Vienna! Budapest was amazing and beautiful and lush! I wish we had more time but it was amazing.
